Wake up early morning for a hearty breakfast to give you the energy needed for gorilla tracking. Before 8:00 am report to the ranger station for a brief talk by one of the rangers as well as registration; the guides will then take you to track the gorillas through the bush pushing your way through the undergrowth and parting thick creepers. When the gorillas are sighted, visitors will be guided to within 7 metre of them and visitors keep around these animals for a whole hour gazing into their big round eyes that appear frightening and yet shy. These giants are so powerful becoming the most gigantic of all apes. A reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes, as this trek can take from 2 – 8 hours. Take with you lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences. It’s amazing to listen to them grumble to each other, and marvel at the sheer size of the dominant male; the silverback as well as watch a section of the minimum 400 of these species thriving in Bwindi and 880 in the whole world. The Guides interpretation of theflora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas is also impressing. In the afternoon relax at the Camp until time for dinner and overnight
