The short distance from Kigali means you can drive to the Volcanoes and track the gorillas and return to Kigali in one day. Your tour driver guide shall pick you up from your place of stay in Kigali at around 5 am. He will take you on a very scenic 2-3 hour drive northwest to Volcanoes National Park in Virunga Mountains.
