Breakfast at your place of stay in Kampala, depart at 6:30am for the transfer to Fort Portal Area to the west of Uganda 300km about 5 hours’ drive. The drive offers good views of rural landscapes, en route towns, inselbergs of Mubende, swamps and forests both natural and plantation. Hot lunch in Fort Portal after which you can undertake a heritage tour to Amabere g’ Nnyinamwiru caves believed traditionally to be breasts of Nnyinamwiru the daughter of Bukuku – a self-enthroned King of the Bachwezi who is noted to have denied his daughter a chance of breast feeding her Son in fear that he would take over his throne. From the caves, set off on the hike to Fort Portal Crater lake field – one of the four explosion craters in Uganda for amazing sightseeing experience. Settle for relaxation, dinner and overnight

Day 2 of the 10 Days Uganda Tanzania Gorilla, Chimpanzee & Wildlife Safari Enjoy Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale NP & afternoon Bigodi wetland walk
After breakfast, gather at Kanyanchu tourism centre for briefing at 08:00am from the park rangers about the Chimp trekking conduct. Set off to this forest of Kibale after the short briefing in quest of Chimpanzees. The 2 – 5-hour trek will expose you amazing tree species and wildlife including other 12 species of primates like Colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, Red tailed monkeys and olive baboons. The sights of Birds cannot be avoided while their songs will offer you natural entertainment through the jungle. You will marvel at the Chimpanzees as the roll themselves on tree branches, munch fruits and make their pant – hooting calls. After utilizing your one hour, you will have a picnic lunch and return to the starting point for short relaxation before embarking on the wetland walk in the Bigodi sanctuary after for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is one of the diverse and rich protected areas in Uganda. With a minimum of 400 Mountain Gorillas which is close to a half of their world population, Bwindi presents a very rewarding Mountain Gorilla trekking starting at 8am from the respective park station with briefing by the park ranger guides. The gorilla trek duration is 2 – 8 hours but with one full hour of actual viewing and photoshoots. It involves traversing beautiful landscapes with steep hills and narrow valleys amidst lush flora and birds. From the activity, you transfer to Kigali with amazing views of Kigezi Highlands and Rwandan hillsides.
