Day 1 of the 13 Days Flying Tanzania, Uganda Primate & Kenya Wildlife Safari tour: Transfer from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru and view Flamingos
Early morning pick up and safari briefing by our representative. Board your van and drive through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is famous for its flamingos and not forgetting other wildlife like Black and White Rhino, Leopards, Rothschild’s Giraffe and many more. You will embark on a game drive through the park that takes you to the Lake shores to watch the amazing birds, flamingos. These birds make lake shores appear pink out of their concentration. You will also proceed to the baboon cliff just to have a look at the whole park from an aerial view. Afterwards have a game viewing drive through the park as you return to the hotel for Lunch. Afternoon will be spent at leisure at the hotel with an option of an evening game drive in search for the animals not seen so far.

Day 2 of 13 Days Flying Tanzania, Uganda Primate & Kenya Wildlife Safari tour: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Park
After breakfast you will check out of the lodge and drive towards the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve, via the beautiful savannah grasslands and plains in the Great Rift valley, magnificent views of Mt. Suswa, Mt. Margaret and Mt. Longonot.
This game reserve is among the 9 wonders of the world and is a renowned tourist destination in Kenya, famous for the wildebeest migration along the Mara River.
The river is full of Crocodiles and hippos which traverse the Mara. The reserve has high proportions of wildlife and above all one is sure to spot a pride of lions resting or hovering in the fantastic woodland savannah grassland, and also the big five. Other animals expected include; hyenas, antelopes, topis, dikdik, and zebras among others. You enter the park via the Eastern park gate of Sekenani and enjoy a short game drive as we head to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 & 4 13 Days Flying Tanzania, Uganda Primate & Kenya Wildlife Safari tour: Explore the magical wonder of Maasai Mara National Park
After breakfast at the camp, you will explore the park’s amazingly high concentration of game. 2 days of game drive with picnic lunch at the Mara River as you enjoy the scenic view of the crocodiles resting on the brown-muddy river banks. The rolling grasslands of the Maasai Mara offer ideal game viewing and photographic opportunities and the grassy plains are broken by rocky outcrops which are favorite midday resting places for Lion.
This is where millions of Wildebeest cross the Mara River from the Serengeti National park of Tanzania to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve of Kenya – an annual spectacular event, which brings along thousands of plains game and predators to the Mara, making the park a beehive of ‘wildlife activities’. Late afternoon can be spared for a visit to the Maasai village to be enlightened on the Maasai culture and perhaps enjoy a Maasai cultural dance.

Connect to Entebbe Airport again for a scheduled flight to Pakuba Airstrip operated by Aerolink Uganda. You spend the late afternoon taking a game drive in the northern landscapes of Murchison Falls National Park with rolling savannah combretum enjoying the sun set views over the savannah and River Nile below. The possible wildlife views include; Rothschild Giraffes, elephants, Uganda kobs, Jackson’s hartebeest, predators like lions and leopards among others. Retire for dinner and overnight.

Connect to Budongo Forest Reserve to catch up with Chimpanzee trekking commencing at 8am. The forest reserve features over 800 Chimpanzee populations among which have been habituated for human exploration. The trek lasts between 2 – 5 hours after which you connect back to Murchison to catch up with the afternoon boat ride along the Nile River to the bottom of the falls. The boat ride commences at 2:30pm and lasts 3 hours. Upon reaching the bottom of the falls, you hike to the top of the falls enjoying the roaring thunder like sound of the Nile River as it splashes its waters on the ancient impermeable rocks that have stood its way for centuries past. You enjoy the view of the world’s most powerful waterfall where the river squeezes itself to pass through a less than 7m ravine before falling 43m below to what has been termed as the Devil’s Cauldron generating a thunderous roar marked by trademark rainbow. Retire for relaxation and overnight.

After breakfast, you embark on the charter flight from Murchison to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge as you prepare for the next day tracking in the gorilla forest.

Day 12 of the 13 Days Flying Tanzania, Uganda Primate & Kenya Wildlife Safari tour: Do gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Connect to the gorilla trekking assembly point to catch up with briefing at 8am. The session is conducted by the park rangers and the gorilla family allocation as well after which you set off to the forest in search of the critically endangered Mountain gorillas. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park features a minimum of 400 mountain gorillas ranking as the single national park with the highest count of these species. The trek takes you through the verdant forest cover covered with mist in the chilly morning traversing the steep slopes, descending the narrow valleys and crossing swamps and streams before approaching the respective gorilla group. You spend one full hour with them an ideal moment for limitless photoshoots and questions about gorillas. The entire trek can last 2 – 8 hours after which you retreat to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.
