This 2 days Uganda camping safari is a 1 night/2 day camping safari in Uganda, offering you amazing game viewing to see the Big Game in Queen Elizabeth National Park (the most popular park in Uganda) and the famous wildlife and scenery viewing boat cruise on Kazinga Channe. You will have a wonderful 3-4 hours morning game drive in the scenic Queen Elizabeth National Park, a park of diverse habitat hosting an astonishing 610 bird species and 95 species of mammals. Day 1 of the 2 Days Uganda Camping Safari: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Do an Afternoon Boat Cruise along Kazinga Channel & an Evening Game Drive along the Channel Track.
After early morning breakfast at around 6:30 am from your place of stay in Kampala, your safari guide will pick you up to head to Queen Elizabeth National Park 417km about 7 hours’ drive in the southwest of Uganda.
Drive from Kampala towards the west driving past the Equator, Igongo Cultural Center, and Bunyaruguru Crater before arriving in Queen Elizabeth National Park fronted by the magnificent Rwenzori Mountain range for much of your journey.
Connect to your lodge for check-in and lunch after which you will connect to the Mweya jetty for a thrilling 2-hour boat cruise on the 45km Kazinga Channel which flows between Lakes George and Edward. One of the world’s densest concentrations of hippo lives here, as well as large numbers of elephants, buffalos, crocodiles, and water birds like African Open-billed, Yellow-billed, and Saddle-billed Storks; Water Thick-knee and Pelicans.
The cruise offers an excellent platform for photography. You retreat from the boat cruise and do an evening game drive along the Channel track to explore the wild game in their evening moments. Continue to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight

Day 2 of the 2 Days Uganda Camping Safari: Do Morning Game Drive & Transfer Back to Kampala with Stops at Igongo Cultural Center for lunch & Uganda Equator Crossing at Kayabwe for photoshoots.
You wake up for an early morning cup of coffee at around 6.00 am in the views of the moist savannah before heading to the park for the game drive at 7 am. Undertake a game drive in the Kasenyi tracks and the Queen’s Mile in the open savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park lying flat on the Albertine rift floor.
This section of the park, aside from the fantastic wildlife, is also the prettiest in the park, especially in the golden light of the morning. Look for lions, buffalos, elephants, leopards, hyenas, waterbucks,
bushbucks, warthogs, giant forest hogs, Uganda kobs, Hippos, and various smaller creatures.
Though the major attraction for you is of course the mammals, birding within Queen Elizabeth National Park is wonderful; over 600 bird species have been sighted and recorded. You spend some time ticking a good number of special species such as Grey-crowned crane, Red-throated spurfowl, Yellow-throated longclaw, White-backed vulture, White-headed vulture, African Skimmer, Long-crested Eagle, Black-bellied Bustard, and Brown Snake Eagle, to name just a few.
Retreat from the activity and embark on the transfer back to Kampala making a traditional lunch stop at Igongo Cultural Center 12km past Mbarara town and Uganda Equator crossing at Kayabwe for photoshoots and purchase of souvenirs to commemorate your tour in Uganda
