After an early breakfast at around 6.00 am at your place of stay in Kampala, embark on a 700km drive to Kidepo Valley National Park. But since 700km may be hard to cover in a single drive, you make a stopover in Kitgum town. The drive to Kitgum takes you through impressive northern Uganda landscapes. You will arrive in Kitgum for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Wake up for breakfast at around 6.30 am, after which you connect to Kidepo Valley National Park driving through local homesteads of Karamajong people and other tribes. You arrive in the park in the mid-morning, check-in at your lodge, and relax a little until lunch.
In the afternoon, you embark on a game drive exploring the park’s impressive landscapes including the magical Narus Valley where you stand possibilities of exploring a range of game including African elephants, herds of Cape buffalos, Jackson’s hartebeests, Klipspringers, Jackals, and possibly of lions, as well as several bird species. Day 3 of the 4 Days Kidepo Valley National Park Safari: Do a Morning Game Drive in Kidepo & an Afternoon Cultural Tour to the Karamajongo Community.
After breakfast at 7.00 am, embark on a thrilling 3-4 hours game drive in the savannah stretches of Kidepo Valley National Park intercepted by patches of Borassus palm and rising scenic hills. Marvel at the beautiful views of the sun shining over the hills of Lomej, the Lotukei Mountains to the north close to the Sudan border, the Morungule range to the southern boundary of the park before the rays strike down to the endless valleys of Kidepo and Narus.
The possible mammal sights include Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffalos, Side-striped jackals, Black-backed jackals, Bat-eared foxes, Spotted hyenas, Burchell’s Zebras, Rothschild’s giraffes, Cheetahs, Elands, Guenther’s dik-dik, Caracal, Klipspringer, Oribi, Bushbucks, Waterbucks, Lesser kudu, Greater kudu, Jackson’s hartebeest, Warthogs, Patas monkeys, Bohor reedbucks, Chandler’s mountain reedbucks, among others.

The extensions to Kidepo Valley rewards with sights of Ostriches (only found here in the whole of Uganda) and Secretary birds.
