4 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari SAFARI OVERVIEW

4 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari
Queen Elizabeth National Park Wildlife Safari in Uganda

Our 4 days Queen Elizabeth National Park safari is a 3 nights/4 days Uganda safari tour to Queen Elizabeth National Park which offers magical wildlife game viewing, chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura gorge, and a recreational boat cruise along the 45km long Kazinga Chanel to view some of the highest concentration of hippos in the world. Queen Elizabeth Park is Uganda’s most popular park, with a total area of 1978 km2. It was gazetted in 1952 and named Kazinga National Park, but was renamed 2 years later to commemorate a visit by Queen Elizabeth II. The park is situated close to the Rwenzori Mountains on the floor of the Albertine rift valley in a fertile, equatorial area and has beautiful scenery.

It is primarily associated with grassy savannah plains, but this amazing park also includes within its boundaries tropical rainforests, moist acacia woodlands, natural volcanic crater lakes, freshwater lakes and a variety of wetland habitats. As a result it has one of the highest biodiversity ratings of any nature reserve in the world, including a total of 610 recorded bird species and 96 mammal species. The park’s famous tree-climbing lions are its undisputed wildlife stars but during this 4 days Queen Elizabeth National Park safari you can also expect to see savannah Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, Hippos, and Nile Crocodiles, Giant forest hogs, Warthogs, Waterbucks, Bushbucks, Uganda kobs and topis plus much more.

The 417km drive to Queen takes about 7 hours from Kampala on smooth tarmac. The amazing sights en route including the Equator crossing, Igongo Cultural Center, traditional rangelands of Ankole and Bunyaruguru Crater combine to make your 4 days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari wonderful and memorable.

If you’d like to customize this safari or have any special desires, please let us know. We’re here to make your safari wishes come true.
