Day 2: Do Gorilla Trekking In Volcanoes NP & Travel To Lake Kivu – Gisenyi Beach For Relaxation
On day two of your 5 days Rwanda safari (primate tracking tour), you will wake up at 6 am and enjoy breakfast. You will then transfer to the park headquarters to meet your excellent local guides for a briefing.
At about 8 am, begin an unforgettable trek deep into the jungle through volcano forests alongside an expert park ranger/guide to search for rare Mountain gorillas. Gorilla trekking can take anything from 30 minutes to 7 hours and it is relatively tiresome, so be prepared for a challenge.
But know that if you spot these gentle giant, human-like creatures (we share 98% of our DNA with them) it will all be worth it. Rwanda authorities are fiercely protective of this natural treasure, and you’ll be allowed one hour with the gorillas.

Day 3: Drive to Nyungwe National Park. Drive via the Scenic Congo Nile Divide Trail

You drive driving via the Congo Nile divide trail which offers possibly the best opportunity to experience Rwanda’s remarkable natural beauty and marvelous scenery.

Day 5: Drive Back To Kigali. Visit The Nyanza King’s Palace & Butare Ethnographic Museum En-Route
