Your 6 days Tanzania safari tour begins at 8.00 am with a pick-up from your place of stay in Arusha and a briefing by our professional tour driver guide before you leave. Then, you will be taken on a beautiful 2-hour drive north through the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu to the scenic Lake Manyara National Park.
You arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch, have some time to relax and then embark on a fine afternoon of game viewing around the park.
A spectacular part of Africa’s Great Rift Valley, Lake Manyara’s rich variety of natural habitats are set around the soda lake. This is a paradise for bird lovers, thanks to the combination of wetlands, woodlands, and hot springs. Over 400 bird species have been recorded including flocks flamingos, pelicans, cormorants, and storks.
The forested valleys and open savannah plains support a large population of African elephants, as well as Giraffes, Plains Zebras, Blue Wildebeests, African Buffalos, Blue monkeys, large troops of Olive Baboons, and many species of Antelopes. There are fewer predators but topping the list are the famed Manyara’s tree-climbing lions.

Day two of your 6 days Tanzania safari tour starts with an early breakfast at 7.00 am. Then, embark on a marvelous African drive of about 5-6 hours north. Pass through rural Masai villages and Ngorongoro Conservation Area as you make your way to the endless plains of Serengeti, a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site.
One of the seven natural wonders of Africa, the Serengeti is one of the oldest and most scientifically significant ecosystems on Earth. Its weather patterns, fauna, and flora are believed to have changed very little for as long as a million years or more, giving the area an incredible prehistoric presence.
Serengeti has become world-famous for its annual Great Wildebeest Migration, an iconic and dramatic scene in wildlife documentaries for decades, and a true bucket list experience. On arrival, enjoy a game drive on your way to your accommodation in central Serengeti. Have a picnic lunch en route, so as to not cut into your game viewing time in this wonderful part of Serengeti.

After breakfast on day four of your 6 days Tanzania safari tour, embark on another game drive in beautiful Seronera Valley.
You may visit the Simba Kopjes, a rock outcrop favored by lions and cheetahs as high perches and a place to hide their cubs, and they can often be seen basking in the morning sun on top. (Simba is Swahili for lion and kopje Afrikaans for ‘little head’).
After the game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch and depart Serengeti for the dramatic and breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater– another UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site, which is sometimes referred to as the ‘eighth natural wonder of the world. You’ll pass through rugged forested hills and beautiful Masai villages en route.
You’ll stop at the Olduvai Gorge, one of the world’s most important paleoanthropological sites, where Louis Leakey discovered the remains of Homo habilis, one of the earliest members of the human genus in the 1960s. After an early breakfast on day five of your 6 days Tanzania safari tour, descend 2000 feet to the Ngongoro Crater floor for a thrilling 4×4 game drive. You’ll enjoy a bush picnic lunch on the 264km2 crater floor and return in the late afternoon to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
As you descend the crater, learn some cool facts about this incredible natural geological wonderland of Africa. Formed by a massive volcanic eruption, this world’s largest intact caldera is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife.
There are over 250,000 large animals including rare black rhinos, Blue Wildebeests, and Plains Zebras, along with some of the densest concentrations of Lions in Africa.

After a leisurely breakfast today, embark on a cultural visit to Maasai village in the Ngorongoro highlands. Spend time with the villagers, find out about their way of life, and join in their lively singing and dancing. There is then the opportunity to learn about some of the customary practices such as fire-making and beadwork.
