6 Days Zambia Safari Tour – DETAILED SAFARI ITINERARY.

Day 1 of the 6 Days Zambia safari tour: Transfer on the Great North Road to Mpika.

Depart Lusaka by road on ‘The Great North Road’ to Mpika via Kabwe and Kapiri Mposhi. Tour of Kapiri Mposhi town and see the Tanzania-Zambia Railways (TAZARA) Head Office. This is where the rail line begins from linking Tanzania & Zambia. Have refreshments here and continue your journey and overnight in Mkushi at Forest Inn.

Day 2 & 3 of the 6 Days Zambia safari tour: Explore Kasaka National Park.

Breakfast at Forest Inn and thereafter continue your journey through Serenje to Kasaka National Park; a park endowed with rivers, wetlands, forests, lagoons, and lakes. Your accommodation will be at either Luwombwa or Wasa Camp for 2 nights inclusive of: –

Day 4 & 5 of the 6 Days Zambia safari tour: Transfer to Shiwa Ng’andu& enjoy the hot spring.

Depart Kasanka National Park for Shiwa Ng’andu in Mpika District, after an early breakfast. Arrive Shiwa Ng’andu and clients will spend 2 nights at Kapishya Hot Springs Lodge in chalets. Enjoy the meals on a full board basis and an excellent guided game viewing. Tour the famous Shiwa Ng’andu house! This beautiful English manor house was built in the 1920s by Sir Stewart Gore-Brown in the middle of remote Africa. It was recently restored by his grandson as a fine country hotel.

Day 6 of the 6 Days Zambia safari tour: Transfer back to Lusaka.
