Day 1: Arrive In Uganda Via Entebbe Airport & Undertake A Boat Trip On Lake Victoria To Pineapple Bay On Bulago Island.

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport for your 7 days safari in Uganda. Upon arrival, you team up with the driver guide and embark on the transfer to the landing site from where you board the 45-minute boat cruising on the fresh waters of Lake Victoria to the Pineapple Bay situated on the magical Bulago Island.

Upon your arrival on the 500-acre island, you’re greeted by pristine sandy tan-colored shores, the beautiful palm trees, savannah, forested landscapes, and the sight of Pineapple Bay Resort’s terracotta-colored buildings.

Day 2: Whole Fishing On Lake Victoria From Pineapple Bay.

After a hearty breakfast at 7.00 am, embark on the fishing encounter in the company of the expert guide on a motorized boat with hopes of catching lots of fish including the mighty Nile Perch. The fascinating experience will not only arise from the fishing encounter but also the surrounding scenery that marks the area including the series of Islands, counts of fishermen, the expanse water mass, and the water birds.

You take good pictures of your memorable encounter on the lake. You retreat for lunch and relaxation and then you can connect back in the afternoon for more rewarding encounters. Settle for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Connect Back To The Main Land And Transfer To Murchison Falls National Park, Chobe Safari Lodge (Chobe Sector).

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at around 8.30 am and embark on a 45 minutes boat trip back to the mainland. Upon arrival, you’ll find an extended Luxury Safari land cruiser waiting for you to embark on a 351km (5-6 hours) Uganda wildlife safari game drive Norwest to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest national park, blessed with the world’s longest river, the world’s most powerful waterfalls, and a collection of classic African wildlife including over 451 bird species, 76 species of mammals, four of the Big Five and the world’s largest population of the Rothschild’s giraffes.

On the way to Murchison, drive through the impressive sceneries of central Uganda crossing the Kafu River and the mighty Karuma Bridge on the River Nile. Arrive at Chobe Safari Lodge checking in any of its lush units as earlier selected and spend the rest of the day swimming in the three-level swimming pool overlooking the flowing Nile River as it roars past the small rapids that stand along its way.

You can also opt to take a sunset fishing encounter on the river banks before resting for dinner and overnight.

Have breakfast at 8.00 am and embark on the fishing activity along the Nile River in the company of expert guides exploring the wonders of the historic Nile which is not a mere stream but the world’s longest River featuring great fish species that it generates from the gigantic Victoria Lake.

Fishing in the Chobe sector dates back to the old days when it stood as a great spot for fishing in the region of East Africa. The reconstruction of Chobe Safari Lodge means the regeneration of ancient memories and putting the site back on the map regarding its fishing potential. You retreat for stimulating lunch at the lodge.

Day 5: Transfer To Paraa Safari Lodge, View Wild Game En Route And Do An Afternoon Game Drive As Well.

A Boat Cruise in Murchison Falls National Park Uganda

After breakfast at around 7.30 am, embark on the drive to the Paraa area. As you drive through the park, look out for Lions, Cape Buffaloes, African Elephants Leopards, Rothschild Giraffes, Hippos, Uganda Kobs, Oribis, and Jackson’s Hartebeest.

Murchison Falls NP is also a rich haven for birds. Search for Shoebills, Marabou Stork, Abyssinian Ground Hornbill, Secretary Birds, Black-bellied Bustards, Open-billed Storks, Widow Birds, Swallow-tailed and Red-throated Bee-eaters; Woodland, Pied, Giant and Malachite Kingfishers; Grey heron; Hamerkop and more.

You settle at Paraa Safari Lodge for lunch and relaxation overlooking the calm Nile River as it flows to the delta area. In the afternoon, you do another game drive to explore the wild game of Murchison in detail. The sunset views of the savannah with patches of Borassus palm trees are rewarding to encounter.

After breakfast at around 8.30 am, you get on the boat along with the expert guides and begin the fishing encounter along the Nile upstream.

The area has potential for catching the Nile Perch, the Catfish types, and the Tigerfish. During the fishing encounter, you may not dodge the sights of Hippos, the Nile Crocodiles, and water birds like the Shoebill stork which is the highly sought-after bird in Uganda.

You carry along with the packed lunch and fish to the bottom of the Murchison falls where the Nile Perch is easily landed as it is still unstable following the squeezing of the Nile River narrow gorge. After this incredibly exciting activity, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

The Murchison fall is arguably the world’s most powerful! It is not very big or wide like some you may have seen before but think of the world’s longest river which is about 50 meters wide squeezing through a narrow cleft of up to 7 meters and fall 45 meters down to what has been termed the “devil’s cauldron” below, forming a plume of spray marked by a thunderous roar and a permanent rainbow. It is a truly unforgettable experience!

Retreat from the activity and embark on a 311km (5-6 hours) drive to Kampala or Entebbe, settling for lunch en route and arrive in Kampala in the afternoon.

Passport

Any world traveler interested in a Uganda safari or a Uganda tour is required to be in possession of a valid passport issued by the respective country of origin. Uganda immigration Authorities require that the passport copy should be 6 months valid and must have at least one page where the stamp can be put.

Regarding the citizens of the East African Community, it can be noted that they do not require passports to enter Uganda. They can travel under the admissible temporary document and use their national identification cards for identification.
