7 Days Madagascar Tour – DETAILED SAFARI ITINERARY.

Day 1 of the 7 Days Madagascar Tour: Arrive in Antananarivo & transfer to Andasibe.

Arrive at Ivato International Airport – the main gateway to Antananarivo Madagascar, you will be welcomed by our representative before proceeding to Andasibe. Enjoy an evening short night walk to gain chances of exploring nocturnal active animals. Retire for overnight.

Day 2 of the 7 Days Madagascar Tour: Explore Andasibe National Park.

Transfer on a rough road to Mantadia Reserve – the home to a range of species including Lemurs, Chameleons and Birds. You enjoy a 4-hour hike through the rainforest of Mantadia National Park.  You gain chances of exploring Black-and-white ruffed lemurs, Diademed sifaka, the ground rollers and the insectivorous tenrecs.  In the afternoon, you enjoy a close look of the lemurs at the Lemurs’ Island.

Day 3 of the 7 Days Madagascar Tour: Mantadia Reserve & return to Antananarivo.

Undertake the hike to explore Analamazaotra Nature Reserve (another part of Périnet) where you gain great chances of viewing largest lemurs called “Indri indri” along with other animal species and medicinal plants.  After the tour, transfer back to Antananarivo City. Explore the Peyrieras’ reptile farm at Mandraka en route.

Day 4 of the 7 Days Madagascar Tour: Fly to Morondava, in the Midwest coast of Madagascar, the Land of Baobabs.

Drive to the Airport for the flight to Morondava, in the Midwest coast of Madagascar, the Land of Baobabs. Upon arrival, transfer northwards following the red road to the Kirindy Reserve through the lush Baobab forests and the savannah.  The Mantadia Reserve is positioned in a dry deciduous area and shelters the great Fossa predator along with a range of lemur species, birds and reptiles. Enjoy diurnal and nocturnal treks within the Reserve.

Day 5 of the 7 Days Madagascar Tour: Kirindy Reserve & return to Morondava.

Spend the morning time in Kirindy Reserve and the sunset experience at the Baobab Avenue before approaching the coastal town of Morondava.

Day 6 of the 7 Days Madagascar Tour:  Last exploration of Baobab Avenue & return to Antananarivo.

At dawn, drive back to the Baobab Avenue to enjoy the magical lights and views of the area. Then, transfer to the airport and fly back to the capital city of Antananarivo.  Relax at the hotel upon arrival

Day 7 of the 7 Days Madagascar Tour:  Antananarivo City tour & drop off at the Airport.

Depending on the departure time, you take up an exciting city tour visiting the Queen’s Palace, the former palace of the Prime Minister Rainilaiarivony noted to have married the three Queens and the handicraft market at Digue before drop off at the Airport.
