Positioned close to the Rwanda gorilla safari tour of Volcanoes National Park, the Bisate Lodge is one of the recent additions in the Rwanda luxury lodge portfolio set to serve affluent world travelers visiting Rwanda.
Bisate Lodge is made up of six (6) forest villas serving up to twelve (12) guests. The rooms are en suite and blend fully with the surrounding ecosystem along with a touch of the local culture presenting an addition to the Rwanda Safari memories among the guests.
The Lodge that is set to open its doors to guests in the month of June 2017 derives its name Bisate from the local Kinyarwanda dialect that literally means pieces. The name originates from the series of the Volcanic Mountains that form the Virunga Massif which straddle from Uganda through Rwanda to Democratic Republic of Congo. The lodge offers remarkable views of this Mountain landscape making the stay of travelers on Safari in Rwanda memorable.
Bisate Lodge features a close drive distance to Kinigi Park Headquarters where a range of activities including Mountain Gorilla trekking, Golden Monkey tracking, Dian Fossey Hike and Volcano climbing among others start from. This makes the lodge a good ground where travelers on gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda can spend a night before or after Gorilla tracking.
