There are many hotels and lodges where you can stay while on your gorilla trekking safari. These are found both inside and outside the gorilla tracking areas and they will indeed provide you with the best one can have while on a Uganda safari hence attracting more tourists to come and safari Uganda.
Many people like tracking gorillas from the Buhooma region and there the groups trekked are Rushegura, Habinyanja and Mubare group. In this area you can stay in Buhooma lodge, Buhooma community Rest Camp, Silverback lodge, Sanctuary gorilla forest camp, Engagi lodge and Mahogany springs lodge. These will give you all the best facilities while on your gorilla safari in Uganda.
Gorilla tracking is also carried out in the Rushaga area where there are Nshongi, Bweza, Mishaya, Kahungye and Busingye groups. However although the area has many gorilla groups to be tracked it has limited facilities therefore at times tourists use the Nkuringo lodges which is near to Ruhaga. In Rushaga there is Gorilla safari Lodge and Nshongi camp only.
The Nkuringo area is also another area in Bwindi where gorillas are tracked. There is only one group of gorillas to be trekked and that is Nkuringo group and the accommodation used is Nkuringo gorilla camp and Clouds mountain gorilla lodge. You can possibly use the Rushaga lodges as well.
The last area is the Ruhija where there are two groups those are Oruzogo and Bitukura. If these groups are to be tracked tourists use Ruhija gorilla safari lodge, Cuckooland gorilla safari lodge and Bakiga lodge. The buhooma lodges in this case can be used since the places are near to each other.
With all these groups of gorillas and the lodges identified in different areas of Bwindi, a tourist can have the best gorilla tracking safari in Uganda. The lodges are therefore chosen depending on the group of gorilla a tourist is to track. This therefore makes Uganda a tourist destination with better safaris while on Uganda visits.
