After breakfast at your place of stay in Kampala, you get into your confortable safari vehicle in the company of your guide at 6:30 and drive to the south west of Uganda to Queen Elizabeth National Park 417km about 7 hours’ drive. You make a stop at Uganda Equator Crossing Kayabwe after driving 77km from Kampala and have time to explore this significant geographical site – the Sun’s way and the point of separation between the northern and southern hemisphere. A well interpreted water experiment is performed to show the separation of these two poles. The place also features rewarding photographing opportunities where you take photos with one leg in the northern hemisphere and another in the southern hemisphere. Continue on the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park making another stop at Igongo Cultural Center for an amazing traditional lunch where you enjoy a local food organically produced and freshly served. You can also take an optional tour to the Erijukiro Museum which features a range of artifacts of the tribes of south western Uganda. Embark on the drive passed Mbarara town and enjoying the views of Bunyaruguru Crater and the lush Kalinzu forest. You can make a stop at the crater field for sightseen and photo taking. Arrive in Queen Elizabeth National Park in the evening for a simple drive along the road with possible views of elephants, Buffaloes, water bucks and may be lions after which you connect to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight

You wake up for an early morning cup of coffee in the views of the moist savannah before heading to the park for the game drive at 7am. Undertake a game drive in the Kasenyi tracks and the Queen’s Mile in the open savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park lying flat on the Albertine rift floor. This Uganda safari encounter offers you an opportunity to explore a range of wild game including; cape Buffaloes, Leopards, Topi, Elephants, Kobs, Waterbucks, Warthogs, Hyena, lions, side stripped jackals among other wildlife not forgetting counts of bird species since Queen Elizabeth National Park has the highest bird count  in the whole of Uganda and East Africa (over 600) including the Martial Eagle, African Skimmer, Black-rumped Buttonquail,  Chapin’s Flycatcher, Pinkbacked Pelican, Verreaux’s Eagle Owl, White-tailed Lark, Black Bee-eater, White-winged Warbler among other birds. Retreat from the activity for relaxation and lunch after which you gather at Mweya jetty for an afternoon Kazinga Channel boat cruise departing at 2pm. You will have an afternoon 2-hour boat cruise running along the Kazinga channel that stretches from Lake George to Lake Edward covering 45km distance. This cruise offers you an opportunity to see at close range the highest concentration of water submerged Hippos, surrounded by over 60 species of migrant and resident birds plus crocodiles drinking and resting at water edges. The cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. You retreat from the boat cruise and do an evening game drive along the Channel track to explore more wild game in their evening moments. Continue to the lodge for overnight

Transfer to the southern sector of Ishasha the re-known home for the tree climbing lions. The drive takes about 1 – 2 hours and upon arrival, you embark on the wildlife safari experience exploring the magical wild game including the lions that tend to the fig trees during the day time. The drive also exposes you to other game including the waterbucks, the elephants, the Buffaloes and the Uganda Kobs. You have lunch in Ishasha and you retreat to the northern section of Queen Elizabeth in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight

After breakfast, embark on the drive to Kyambura gorge for a thrilling chimpanzee experience that tend to last 2 – 5 hours inclusive of one full hour of direct encounter. You explore the amazing lush of Kyambura gorge with mature tropical forest existing in the 100m deep gorge traversed by a river on its floor. You enjoy the views of the chimps as they feed, copulate, patrol, and socialize. After the encounter, you embark on the transfer to Kampala 417km about 7 hours’ drive arriving in the evening to mark the end of the tour.

After breakfast from your place of stay in Kampala, you embark on the drive to Lake Mburo National Park 240km about 3 – 4 hours’ drive to the south west of the country. The Drive will see you make a stop after 77km at Uganda Equator crossing to encounter the world’s main latitude crossing which is a unique site for beautiful photo shoots and water experiments can also be performed to ascertain the exact geographical divide between the two hemispheres. Proceed to Lake Mburo NP, check in at the lodge settle for lunch and in the afternoon connect to Rwonyo jetty for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo offering magical views of the lake, the fringing swamp, the aquatics like the Hippos and Nile Crocodiles, the birds that prefer being close to the water like the African Fish eagle and the African fin foot.
