hippos at queen elizabeth national parkQueen Elizabeth is one of the famous national parks that has promoted Uganda safari and it has attracted many people to visit Uganda due to its diverse wildlife hence promoting tour visits with in the country. The park is located in the western part of Uganda and it covers the districts of kamwenge, bushenyi and Rukungiri.

There are many interesting features in Queen Elizabeth National Park which have attracted many safaris to Uganda. These features include the favourite animals commonly known as the big five and these include; the elephant, lion, leopard, the hippos and other animals that have attracted visitors to come and view such a blessing to the park.

The boat cruise which is mainly carried out on Kazinga channel is an interesting activity that has always left many wanting to come back and visit the National Park. This boat cruise takes 1 to 2 hours and it can be done either in the morning or in the evening after the game drive. It has always expected to be a tour adventure after engaging in the Boat cruise as a tourist activity.

Uganda gorilla safaris have always been incorporated with the tour with in the park due to its diverse wildlife which includes many animals that have always attracted visitors to add on their Gorilla safaris in Uganda.

The park harbours primates which are commonly known as the chimpanzees which are found in the Kyambura Gorge. These are so cheap to track since the permits are mostly booked with in the park. The chimpanzees are very wonderful animals and they have always attracted many people to choose a Uganda safari.

More activities that can be engaged in by visitors with in the National Park include spot fishing which can be carried out on kazinga channel and it’s an interesting tourist’s activity which is enjoyed so much, the nature walks with in the park also facilitate watching of the animals especially those which hideaway during the game drives.
