Conservation is the act of promoting tourism in an area without impacting the environment, tourism in Uganda is developed in the way that the environment is well protected andlion- uganda wildlife conserved, and this has helped in increasing the number of tourists who come for safaris to Uganda.

Tourism and conservation move hand in hand and this means that Uganda Wildlife Authority should put in a lot of efforts so that both the environment and the animals are well protected, this will help in increasing the number of animals hence increasing Uganda safaris.

Many national parks have been conserved and protected from destruction and this has been done through encouraging the local people to participate in the conservation process, this has helped them also to engage in tourism development hence increasing the number of safaris to Uganda.

Tourism in Uganda is mainly based on the mountain gorillas which are found in Bwindi impenetrable national; these have greatly attracted many gorilla trekking safaris, these have been fully conserved and preserved which has helped in increasing their numbers.
