Uganda ready to protect River Nile-Prime Uganda safaris & Tours safari updates
Uganda has registered to continue cooperating with the other east African countries in conserving and protecting River Nile so that Uganda can benefit from its sustainable benefits. This will help in increasing safaris to Uganda and also other East African countries.
Uganda needs to conserve the river since it’s the main source of water to all the National Parks in Uganda, this river helps the growth of animals in the parks and also has greatly helped the development of habitants. This has helped in protecting the wildlife and the National parks which has increased Uganda safaris.
Protecting River Nile will not only help in tightening relations among the East African countries but also will ease movement from one country to another, this will however help in increasing the movement of tourists from one country to another, hence helping in increasing safaris in Uganda.
The Nile river has greatly promoted tourism in Uganda since many travellers have visited Uganda in order to engage in the activities which are carried out from the Nile River, these include; white water rafting , bungee jumping, swimming, boat cruises and many others. All these activities have greatly contributed to the increased safari visits to Uganda.
In addition to River Nile, Lake Victoria is also an important water body to Uganda since it’s shared by the East African countries. It has got man y tourist activities which are enjoyed by the tourists on the safari tours with in Uganda. This lake is important to Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda and other countries like Egypt.
The government therefore should put in more efforts to protect the river so that its not contaminated or polluted by the increasing number of industries that are coming up in Uganda. This will help in conserving and preserving it for tourism.
