In this regard, it’s very fortunate to note that Kitabi College of Conservation and Environmental Management (KCCEM) situated in Nyamagabe District in the southern province graduated over 46 students with diploma specialty in Wildlife management. The graduates were majorly tour guides and park rangers and were hailing from the Albertine rift region which is a great destination for various travellers including those that pan safaris to Rwanda.
The studies featured an animal behavior, aspects of poaching among other areas to do with management of wildlife. With these endeavors, tourism in Rwanda is seen to be taking the right path considering the fact that it generated $293million in revenue in the previous year.
