Itanda falls is just 27 kilometres from jinja town and it always takes only 45 minutes drives to reach at the wonderful falls which have attracted many safaris to Uganda. It’s located along river Nile in Jinja district. It is a hidden treasure that is loved by many though not yet visited by many tourists.

The place has got many tourist activities and these have attracted many tourists who have decided to come for safari tours to Uganda. Itanda falls has got 3 levels of rapids along with grade 6 to 4. These have attracted many rafters, kayakers many other tourists who have helped in increasing the total revenues of the tourism sector. However, this place has not been marketed well by the ministry of tourism, which has brought about reduced numbers of tourists to the area.

The area has remained un exploited which has helped in conserving and preserving the place. This place will make you experience the Nile to its fullest hence making your safari in Uganda adventurous. However, the ministry has put up strategies which will help in marketing the tourist attraction to the tourist in the country and outside the country.
