mountain gorillasMountain gorillas in Uganda are considered to be endangered species and therefore they must be conserved and preserved, and one of the methods to be used is responsible tourism were by the tourists and the local people who are near the habitants of mountain gorillas are able to be responsible for the protection and conservation of the Gorillas. This will help to increase gorilla tracking safaris to Uganda.
Since gorilla tourism greatly contributes to the revenue of the country, it has become a vital conservation tool which at the same time helps to preserve and conserve the mountain gorillas hence improving the number of gorilla trekking safaris to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Responsible tourism has also turned the mountain gorillas in to valuable commodity which is priced by the local people and the government at the same time, the mountain gorillas , through the mountain gorilla safaris carried , have helped to provide much funding for the infrastructures like roads and providing employment opportunities to the locals.
Responsible tourism combines many things including; ecotourism, proper management of the National Park and many other things which help to conserve and preserve the mountain gorillas. Responsible tourism especially in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a key factor which will helped to increase the number of mountain gorillas in Bwindi hence increasing the number of mountain gorilla tracking expeditions/ adventures to Uganda.
However, responsible tourism not only conserves the mountain gorillas, but also other wildlife, like the animals in the forests and national parks, plants and many other non- living things. This has tried to increase Uganda safaris.
