The Rwenzori Mountains in the Albertine rift rises to 5,109m above sea level with snowcapped peaks thus exploring it following the central circuit allows one to follow the footsteps of the Luigi Amadeo – the Duke of Abruzzi who summited the Margarita peak on 18th June 1906.
