Rwanda Air Looks to African Routes for Profitability – Rwanda Safaris News

The airline which currently operates flights from Kigali to most of capital cities of east and central Africa is greatly playing great role of transferring tourists on their Rwanda safaris to other cities like Kampala in Uganda, Nairobi in Kenya among others. The airline also connects tourists from prominent generating areas like Dubai to Rwanda and other East African countries.
Rwanda Air’s plan to start operating flights to Asian countries like China, India and some European countries will greatly help to easy accessibility for potential tourists planning to undertake safaris to Rwanda. If Rwanda Airline starts operating to Asian countries, it will also help to market the different tourism attractions to the growing tourism market in countries like China, India and some other European countries.
With the current problem affecting most of African tourism destinations being inter-connectivity, Rwanda carrier‘s plans to extend their flight routes in most of African countries will help to bridge the gap of inter connectivity .This can even help to increase on profit earning of the carrier but more importantly it will help to increase safaris to Rwanda because different people traveling with different motives can easily fly to Rwanda directly.
Rwanda Air currently has a fleet of two Boeing 737-800NGs, two 737-700NGs, two CRJ900NGs and one Dash 8-200 and these are helping to fly tourists on their mountain gorilla trekking to Rwanda in and out of Rwanda. The memorandum of understanding signed by Rwanda Air last month between two Airbus A330s, in a deal worth around USD$500 million based on list prices will also be of great help to tourism industry in Rwanda.
