This camp is completely community-run which allows visitors to experience true cultural immersion. It is named after the regional Turaco bird and found in the stunning Rwenzori region, the ideal place to embark on the natural and cultural adventure of a lifetime! It is most suitable for the day before and after the trek.

It is located below the hills in Mubuku valley, giving you a feeling of nature during the stay. The tents are perfectly set on wooden floors to give a stable night stay to the visitors. With a balcony on every tent, guests can seat outside their tent to take the views of the hills and gardens.
