At the tourism related event held in Kampala – the common first stop point for a range of travelers including those on safaris in Uganda, or Gorilla Safaris to Uganda, the President of the Republic of Uganda named Pikotaro the country’s tourism ambassador in Japan.

The move intended to stimulate the Japanese travelers to take up safaris to Uganda will see this famous Singer and You tube star champion for the Uganda tours for the next one year. His famous song Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen is recognized world over.

Pikotaro agrees to the fact that Uganda is an endowed destination featuring tasty food and good weather and thus ideal for Africa Safari Tour holidays. He notes that its lush greenery and remarkable biodiversity that forms its dub as the Pearl of Africa has potential to draw a range of travelers including Japanese whose influx is still limited.

As part of his strategy to fulfill his mission, Pikotaro hopes to come up with a song that would encourage tourism to Uganda.  The world travelers can enjoy incredible scenery including the towering snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains, remarkable wild game including the Big 5, birds, Primates including the Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi National Park Uganda  always explored on Uganda gorilla safaris and great culture and heritage.
