Jinja is one of the most stormed tourism places in Uganda by visitors. Jinja is known to hold one of the biggest numbers of tourists who come for Uganda safari activities. It’s also the source of the longest river in the world which is the River Nile. Jinja over the years has tried to maintain the reputation of being a fun and venturous place to be.

The splendorous Jinja has a multitude of invigorating activities that one can take part in at all times. Some of them are:

White Water rafting on the Nile.

White water rafting is one of the most enjoyable activities you can have for yourself. It’s done in sessions and a distance of 21kilometres is covered through 8 big river rapids.  Of course, you are briefed and given the right attire to use while rafting. Safety jackets, helmets, safe raft boats. Water rafting is done in groups.

Bungee jumping.

Bungee jumping is an adrenaline pumping experience that is done by people who like to get adventurous. It’s a 43m high jump before you tap the river Nile waters. You are safely fastened before you do the jump.

Boat riding is another intriguing activity. Slow and calm during a sun set or a sun rise, on a boat ride you get to do bird watching. Viewing of different bird species is so interesting on the Nile.

Quad Biking.

The quad biking is a drive that you will long to take part in. Training sessions are given to tourists to help them, firm up and have control of the bike. After that briefing, you then get the opportunity to venture into the gracious fields to a wholistic drive.
