Sipi River Lodge
The lodge is positioned in the outskirt of the Sipi trading center along Kapchorwa road. The lodge offers accommodation in a range of cottages and bandas.
Accommodation at Sipi river lodge include;
Aniet, Kapsurur, and Toben Cottages
These are three secluded, spacious, and thoughtfully designed cottages. Offering the best views of the waterfall found anywhere on the property. Features include ensuite bathroom with a double shower, one king-sized double bed, one 4×6 bed, one 3×6 bed, a lounge with a sofa/daybed, and a private veranda. These beautiful cottages blend a unique design of vibrant color, local craftsmanship, modern fittings, and African flavor.
Piswa, Sasa, and Suam Bandas
These are designed to reflect local building traditions, with round walls and authentically crafted thatched roofing, these rustic riverside bandas blend in to the local landscape. From the beds, you can look out on the mature gardens and listen to the sound of the waterfall. Each banda can accommodate one or two people sharing a twin or double room.
The bandas use toilet and shower facilities that are shared among the banda residents. The bathroom is a stand-alone, round, thatch-roof house that has been divided in half, with private lockable entrances on either side. The bathrooms have been renovated to include flush toilets and, as always, hot, powerful showers.
